Highway to Hope ....Life Testimony....Liz Dolwig

Liz Dolwig visited Jaipur on March 24,2012 where the Seventh Day Adventist Church was delighted to hear her life Testimony during the Divine Service as she preached with incomparable zeal. Liz, a renowned Broadway artist,Producer for Radio and television Program in USA,is now witnessing for the Lord. She grew up as a Roman Catholic,an intelligent child at the age of 13 soon discovered herself to be a theatrical artist. She touched the heights of popularity and fame but still lacked peace... describing "there was still a wide hole in her life". She met her friend Peach Knittel in one of the Mission trip to Ghana. They both have been bringing Hope to many people across the Asian continent. 'What a marvelous journey has it been' they describe,praise God for His leading,may their efforts bring many more to the feet of Christ. By Shekhar Chand, Treasurer

4th Constituency Meeting Report of Madhya Bharat Section, Jaipur

The Madhya Bharat Section, Jaipur conducted its 4th Constituency meeting from February 22-26,2012. Over 200 delegates and invitees attended the meeting which was declared open by Pastor Ravi Masih Gill, Section President after the keynote address on February 22,2012. The delegation represented 43 organized Churches and 111 Company from its spread out territory of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The theme was “Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit”. The Division Leadership was represented by Pr Hidayat Masih, Director SS/PM, SUD and Pastor Maywald Jesudass. The Northern India Union President Pastor Ezras Lakra, and Dr Attar Singh, Treasurer NIU along with Dr. Joseph Tudu, Ministerial Director NIU graced the occasion.
The Section Officers, Pastor Ravi M. Gill, President, Pr Franklin Francis, Secretary, Shekhar Chand, Treasurer along with the members of the nominating committee recommended to the constituency the Departmental Personnel of the Section, which was voted and accepted. The reporting sessions were exhaustive covering a period from 2006 onwards. The reports suggested an overall growth of the Section. The membership has grown from 9601 in 2006 to 17,431 currently. The Work force includes 29 regular workers and 64 Volunteers including Global Mission, Gospel Outreach and Extra Ordinary Tithe Volunteers.
The Financial position of the Section has overall improved maintaining an average self support of 73.6%. The Lay tithe forms a major portion of the total operating revenue of the Section recording an increase of 57.2% over the last five years.
The Constituency Sessions were a spiritual feast as Pastor Hidayat Masih, spoke on “True Character of God’s people”. Pastor Maywald Jesudass from SUD moved the entire members with spirit filled messages on “Spirit of God & last days Church”, and the “Receiving of the Latter rain”. Dr Calwin Joshua, Director OWPH spoke on “Church planting”. Dr Bharat Singh, Laymen spoke on “Secret of Success for God’s people”. Dr Attar Singh emphasized the “Biblical generosity and tithing” whereas Dr J.R. Tudu addressed the congregation as to how to be “The wise builder”.
The Divine and Ordination service was led by Pastor Ezras Lakra, President NIU with Message on “ Revival in God’s way”. At the end seven young pastors were ordained for God’s ministry. The event marked by praise and worship was spirit filled and an occasion to meet old friends. The retirees and former workers apprised themselves with progress of the Madhya Bharat Section. The outstanding contribution of the lay members Pr LD Paul, Dr. Bharat Singh & family, Dr Veena J. Alfred & family, Mr. Roxwell Paul & family Mr. Maxwell Paul & Family. Mr. Cromwell Paul & family and Mr. R. Moses & family were felicitated on the occasion. The meeting was good and everyone was spiritually blessed as spirit of the Lord worked on every one’s heart.
